Kim Jones, Founder and President

Kim started his career in customer operations and sales but found his jam in technical product marketing. After an international career with Schlumberger, he relocated to Dallas, Texas where he held corporate marketing leadership positions at Nokia Networks, GENBAND, and Ribbon Communications. He directed participation at customer events, trade shows, and conferences, including guest appearances on TelecomTV.

He then joined Kandy, a cloud communications startup, where he built and headed the marketing team, directing all of the marketing activities helping grow revenues 350% over three years and adding over 500k subscribers.

Kim also excelled as EVP of the American Marketing Association (AMA) Dallas Ft Worth Chapter, elevating the executive networking program with record-breaking event organization. He also served as regional representative of the SATRO project, inspiring students to pursue careers in technology.

Kim is passionate about product marketing and enjoys sharing his experiences and client success stories with his team to inspire them to grow and succeed.

ICT Consult executed marketing initiatives common for tech companies including digital marketing technology and automation platforms, website and digital content, thought leadership, social campaigns, inside sales processes for lead generation and funnel growth, sales team enablement, media and analysts, brand management, tradeshows, and customer events. Their work in each of these areas was collaborative, effective, and professional.

There were two areas in particular that I found ICT Consult really distinguished themselves. As it related to a customer project, ICT Consult owned the customer's success. In many ways, they were the customer’s marketing department, and even the de facto operations director for the many operational adjustments that needed to be made with the platform. It is worth noting that ICT Consult simply stepped in and did what needed to be done without being asked.

The second area I saw ICT Consult distinguish themselves was in their use of contracted resources. This required a delicate touch and the ability to give and take with the vendors. ICT Consult absolutely mastered this and demonstrated competency and persistence in the fundamental initiatives you will find in any marketing department. I observed ICT Consult go beyond that, particularly with owning a customer's success and optimizing a marketing department largely made up of outside vendors.
